About Moosjer
Moosjer is Lieven Cardoen. A glitch in the matrix, born between the trenches of the Westhoek with a good dose of mustard gas in his nostrils. He saw the light of day at five minutes past midnight, after one of the hottest summers of the 20th century.
Officially certified by the Guislain Institute as 'fascinating' and by St. Camillus as 'still here'. A walking contradiction combining Ethical Hacking with Shamanism, and Astronomy with Astrology (thank you Jan Bartelsman).
Navigating life with a touch of Asperger's, a bladder famously shy in public, and profound gratitude. Grateful for the blues jams in Ghent where he learned to stand on a stage. Grateful for De Poel where he is now learning 'producing' and 'songwriting'. And grateful for all the hurdles that gave his life an abundance of color.
Living on hopeful visions and the healing vibration of music. Where many start from a story, Moosjer starts from a feeling. The words and songs just come to him. He doesn't talk much – it's complicated – so he paints with sounds instead.
My sound is defined by the wood and the wires.
